GMAT Trainer (“GMAX,” “we,” “us”) provides an online GMAT preparation platform at gmattrainer.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the product and help you improve your score.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and display name, provided directly or through Google sign-in. If you use Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image; we do not receive your Google password.
- Practice activity — the questions you answer, your responses, timing, scores, ratings, and progress. This is what powers adaptive practice, your stats, and matchmaking.
- Payment information — if you subscribe, Stripe processes payments. We receive your subscription status and billing metadata; we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data — standard log and device information (such as browser type and approximate region) used to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use your information
- To provide and personalize practice, competitive play, tournaments, and study features.
- To maintain your account, ratings, and progress across sessions and devices.
- To process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To improve question quality and the learning experience in aggregate.
- To communicate with you about your account or important service changes.
Service providers we rely on
We use trusted third parties to operate GMAX: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (payments). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention & security
We keep your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see below). We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and hosted infrastructure — to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You can review and update your profile in the app, cancel your subscription at any time, and request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. Where applicable law grants you additional rights over your personal information, we honor them.
Children
GMAX is intended for users preparing for graduate business admission and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
